The stunning Ardnamurchan peninsula which these days is often taken to include the neighbouring districts of Morvern, Ardgour, Moidart and Sunart is the most westerly part of the British mainland and is quite literally the end of the road. This is a beautiful but unforgiving and remote corner of Scotland, with amazing seascapes at every turn. The harsh landscape is releived by a whole series of superb sandy beaches.
Officially opening on 5th May 2012 the Wales Coast Path will make Wales the first country in the world to have a formal trail the whole way around its coast.
