Licensing Images
All images are available for commercial use under a Rights Managed Licence model. Rights Managed images are licenced for a specific purpose. Usage is strictly limited to this agreed purpose in details such as media, timescale and geographical distribution, and the fees reflect these usage details.
Making the images available online requires an effective and secure service. Photoshelter is used to power the online gallery as they are leaders in online image storage, protection and delivery.
To explore the images, visit the Gallery where they are arranged by location.
High-resolution files for ‘comping’ or inspection are available on request.
Exclusive rights may be available also, upon request.
Lightbox
The Gallery offers the facility to use a lightbox. This enables you to store groups of images to return to later, or to share with others – useful for decisions within a creative team. You can even rate images or make comments to aid this decision process. There’s no limit to the number of images you can put in a lightbox, or the number of separate lightboxes you can create.
To save a lightbox to return to later you will need to set up a free account. All that is required is an email address, your name, and a password. These details will never be shared, sold or used outside of Photoshelter and British Landscapes Photography.
You can either set up your account by going to Customers/Clients tab and click on the “Open Account/ Log in” link (This is where existing users can log in also) or during the image selection process.
Purchasing
If your selected image is within the lightbox, click on the image and decide on the image type you require under “Allow Download” and save, then click on the “Buy/Licence” button followed by the “Downloads” tab top right hand corner and proceed as indicated in the next but one paragraph below.
If you find your image from within the Gallery without adding to a lightbox you can select “Order Print or Licence Image” and then click the “Downloads” tab in the top right hand corner.
It is necessary to enter the intended usage of the image, such as size and distribution area. Choose ‘Add to Cart’ and then either proceed to Checkout to complete your purchase or continue viewing other images and your original image order will be stored for later completion of the purchase . Please note that while prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling, the underlying price calculator is in US Dollars. This means that licence fees may vary slightly from day to day to reflect the conversion with different exchange rates.
All major credit cards are accepted for online payments, a service provided through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account. But if you do, you can choose to pay directly from it.

Image Delivery
Once payment has been taken, your image will be made available to download. Within a few minutes, you’ll be emailed a link to access this image file. Alternatively, you can access it by clicking on ‘Customers/Client’ on the top right of the page, then selecting ‘My Downloads’.
Each image is a separate download and delivered as a Zip file.
This file includes:-
image in jpg format
XMP Sidecar with usage rights
Text file with usage rights
Text file of the licensing agreement
You may download the image/images for up to 96 hours, after which you need to contact me if you need to retrieve the image(s) again.
